Hi Stan

Our brand new program guides are hot of the press and we wanted to share them with you and your students first!

These brochures serve as the quintessential guide to our programs for aspiring doctors, dentists, PAs, nurses and midwives and are a great addition to any careers library.

Download your digital copies below and save some trees!

Rounded Rectangle: MEDICINE, DENTISTRY & PA         MEDICINE, DENTISTRY & PA

Rounded Rectangle: NURSING AND MIDWIFERYNURSING AND MIDWIFERY

At Gap Medics we strive to strengthen your students as individuals, applicants and future health providers. Our standardised programs abroad centre on structured, observational shadowing placements under the guidance of international mentors. In addition to observing a variety of diagnoses, treatments and procedures in our partner hospitals, our students are privileged to attend department meetings and interact with patients.

While our students will never receive "hands-on" experience in accordance with industry guidelines, our alumni cite their observations and conversations as being an important part of their personal and professional development - and their success in attaining entry into some of the most prestigious universities in the world.

If your students have ever wondered what a "day in the life" would really be like - our programs are the perfect way to find out!

If you would like any more information, please do let us know.

Have a great day,

Lauren

Why consider a career in podiatric medicine?

·         A Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) is a specialist in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of lower extremity disorders, diseases and injuries.

·         DPMs can specialize in a variety of areas such as surgery, orthopedics, or public health. Besides these certified specialties, podiatrists may practice a subspecialty such as sports medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, radiology, geriatrics, or diabetic foot care.

·         The DPM is a vital member of the health-care team. He or she is often the first to detect symptoms of diabetes or peripheral vascular disease because of the human foot’s interrelation with the rest of the body.
