• Lecture classes are small. This allows faculty members to get to know each individual student in the class.
• Lab classes are also small and are also taught by faculty members.
• Each faculty member keeps at least 10 office hours per week for the express purpose of meeting with and helping students.
• The student's academic advisor is a faculty member in the student's discipline.
