The School of Sciences provides additional services through:

• our Director of Preprofessional Health Programs who provides information about careers in the various health fields;
• our Math Center, which provides person-to-person help with math concepts.

NEW! We're moving forward:

• The Assisi Foundation has awarded CBU a grant for $3 million dollars for a three year project starting in 2003. Of this amount, about $650,000 is for chemistry equipment and the renovation of some chemistry labs. The chemistry equipment includes a new Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) instrument!

• For the second year (2002) in a row, CBU is participating in a National Institute of Health - Minority International Research Training grant.
• Thanks to an endowed fund from the Shaping Sciences Project, this summer and for the summers to come, we have faculty working to improve the labs, lectures, and web pages in the school.
