CBU School of Sciences
Religious and Ethical Dimensions

CBU Seal Image

Science is a very human activity and, as such, the study and practice of science involves ethical behavior. A degree from CBU deals extensively with the subject matter of the major directly, but it also deals with the total human being and so contains both religious and social dimensions.

All majors at CBU, including those in science, take an ethics course, two religious studies courses, two English composition courses, a literature course, and two social sciences courses. These courses can be chosen from several different alternatives. Some of these, like Medical Ethics, are designed specifically for science majors. Under development is a business course specifically designed for health professionals.
