is designed to introduce the wide
range of opportunities
available with a biology degree
•This class
meets once a week
–Students take
and discuss results from the Myers-Briggs Exam (which allows students to
assess their learning styles). Dee Beard from
the career center comes and talks
to the class.
–Outside
speakers, alumni, graduate recruiters.
–Students take
field trips (see following
slides).
–Most
importantly students volunteer in two different areas of biology.
This allows students to see
what it is really
like in the real world.
