Patel, Mannish and Jian Zuo.  2007.  Prestin-based outer hair cellelectromotility in knockin mice does not appear to adjust the operating point of a cilia-based amplifier.  PNAS (Neuroscience) July 24, 2007 vol104(30)12542-12547.  The work was part of Manny's CBU senior research at St. Jude.

Toledo.  2006.  Differential expression of the AMPA-type glutamate receptors in the nucleus of Edinger-Westphal of embryos and young adult chicks.  Poster presented by Dr. Fitzgerald at the Society for Neuroscience meeting held at the Georgia World Congress Center Oct. 2006. [Bob and Reena, Biology, CBU Class of 2006]  The work was done during the summer of 2005 as part of the MHIRT grant. 

Hendrick, Jennifer(co-author) 2006.  QCT versus DXA in 320 Survivors of childhood cancer: Association of BMD with fracture history.  Pediatric Blood and Cancer (accepted fro publication). [Jennifer Hendrick, Biology, CBU Class of 2006]  She conducted this research during the Summer of 2005 as part of the POE program at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Human Molecular Genetics 14(19): 29452958.  [Jason Higdon, CBU Biology Class of 2002]  This work was done as part of Jason's CBU Biology Senior Research while he was in the POE program at St. Jude.  Jason continued this work during a year of postgraduate research in Dr. Zuo's lab at St. Jude.  Jason is now completing his medical degree at Emory.

Fitzgerald, Malinda, D.U. Flemming, C.N. Gregory, P.S. Shirley, C.R. Sage, K.L. Ward, A.D. Wilkinson, and A.J. Reiner.  2005.  "Morphological Features in the pigeon pecten suggesting a role in transport to the vitreous."  A poster paper at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) meeting in Ft. Lauderdale, 25-29 April 2005.  Dr. Reiner is Dr. Fitzgerald's collaborator in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at the University of Tennessee. All of the other co-authors were students in her Fall 2004 neuroscience class. 

Sage, Chris.  2005.  "The Role of Membrane Synthesis in Macrophage Function" presentation at the national Alpha Chi convention April 2005 in St. Louis. Chris won the Dr. Joe and Bessie Mae Pryor Prize in Chemistry at the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society national convention in St. Louis in April 2005.
